Hello folks, this is your friendly neighborhood webmaster. You may have noticed a few hiccups with the site over the last couple of days? Our host is currently in the middle of a massive server update, both hardware and software. In the long run, this is definitely a good thing, but in the meantime we've got a couple of snags -- the biggest of which is that the forums are currently down. They and I are working on cleaning everything up as quickly as possible, but I wanted to make certain everyone knew that we're on top of problems already and hoping to have things back up as soon as humanly possible.

August is upon us, and with An Artificial Night less than a month away, I'm getting ready to head to Australia for the World Science Fiction Convention, and the Hugo Awards, where the 2010 Campbell winner will be announced. Expect updates from the Land of Poison and Flame. I'm incredibly excited.

New appearances have been added to the Appearances Page, including a one-night New York extravaganza with Cat Valente, a reunion of the Traveling Circus at Borderlands Books, and a Music Guest of Honor slot at Portland's own OryCon.
